viVa.voCe. // hosted by ‘Occupy Justice’ at the Old Street Magistrates’ Court building // 18 – 21 January 2012

Coinciding with the ‘trials of the 1%’, ‘Occupy Justice’ is hosting viVa.voCe. – an art installation by London based artist Eran Tsafrir (in collaboration with sound designer Leandro Mariano Mera Otero), at the occupied Old Street Magistrates’ Court.

viVa.voCe. brings to life the derelict cells of the court building with the haunting sounds of protest and the political hum of the 1%.

The work is part of diG.shaKe.riSe.andblEEed,myloVe. – an independent, non-commercial project questioning the potency of demonstration, riot, revolt and sacrifice as an instrument for policy change. It is an extension of the site-specific installation that is currently on show at the nearby Old Shoreditch Station Project Space, a couple of minutes’ walk from ‘Occupy Justice’ – see details here.

Admission free to members of the 99%.
